Gabriella de Givenchy's Capri Wedding

Jewelry designer Gabriella Taffin de Givenchy, who debuted her first collection after completing her gemology studies during lockdown, crossed paths with oil trader Ugo de Mallmann at a friend’s party in New York. Ugo was in town briefly, while Gabriella had just relocated to the city that very day. Torn between staying in to unpack and going out, she chose the latter. “Thankfully, I ignored my to-do list and went to the party. Ugo and I spent the evening deep in conversation,” she recalls. “When I left, I wasn’t sure if we’d meet again.”
