Destination Wedding: Maeve Reilly and Zach Quittman at Palm Heights

Palm Heights, the cult-favourite Grand Cayman hotel, has an offbeat, under-the-radar quality while still being impossibly stylish — the kind of place that feels like a well-kept secret even when the whole world is watching.
Maeve Reilly and Zach Quittman understood this instinctively. Their celebration unfolded across several days at the hotel, and what emerges in LUÁGO member Sarah Falugo’s photographs is a gathering that felt less like an event and more like an extended exhale — friends arriving on the same flight, an improvised karaoke night beneath string lights, a ceremony held against a sky that had finally, after days of rain, broken open into perfect blue.

Falugo’s eye is precise but never clinical. Her images carry the warmth of the occasion without performing it. There is no posturing here. Just the real rhythm of people who came a long way to be together and gave themselves over to it completely.
Maeve, a stylist whose work has shaped some of fashion’s most recognisable moments, brought the same curatorial instinct to her own celebration. A Wiederhoeft gown with its sculptural corset. An archival Vivienne Westwood for the evening, heavy with sequins. Zach in Aimé Leon Dore. The fashion was considered and personal — not costume, but character.
Some celebrations are designed. The best ones are simply allowed to happen.
